Biography

Ross Spence serves as lead counsel in civil cases and controversies with a specialty in business bankruptcy and business litigation. He has tried numerous matters to verdict and award before judges, juries, and arbitration panels in state and federal courts and agencies. He has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants. He has also handled numerous appeals.

Ross has experience litigating matters involving oil and gas, real estate, leases, construction, lending, contract disputes, usury, fraudulent transfers, director and officer liability, liens, insurance, trademark infringement, deceptive trade practices, environmental issues, stock fraud, non-compete agreements, collections, nondischargeability, legal and accounting malpractice, failed thrift litigation, regulatory matters, and restrictive covenants. Ross has handled various oil and gas and real estate transactions. Ross has served as an arbitrator of a number of business disputes.  He is a frequent expert witness on attorneys’ fees issues.
