Biography

Andrea Laprade is an attorney in Burke Law Group’s Corporate practice group, where she advises clients on a broad spectrum of general corporate matters. She provides strategic outside general counsel services with a focus on immigration law related issues. Drawing on her deep background in high-stakes financial transactions, Andrea partners with her clients to navigate everyday operational challenges, manage corporate governance, manage legal risk, and execute key business initiatives.

Prior to joining Burke Law Group, Andrea practiced in the Structured Transactions group at an AmLaw 50 firm. Her practice focused heavily on sophisticated corporate finance, asset-backed securitizations, and complex structured transactions. Notably, she was a key member of the legal team recognized at the 2024 IFLR Americas Awards for advising on a massive, award-winning $8 billion structured transaction.

At Burke Law Group, Andrea leverages this top-tier transactional experience to serve as a trusted advisor to her clients. Her work spans drafting and negotiating essential commercial agreements, structuring foundational corporate policies, and offering day-to-day counsel designed to help businesses scale efficiently while protecting their bottom line.

A significant cornerstone of Andrea’s practice is dedicated to immigration law and the care and placement of undocumented minors. In this role, Andrea manages complex regulatory compliance frameworks and ensures strict adherence to evolving federal immigration and welfare protocols that protect vulnerable populations.

Andrea is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, with a professional working proficiency in French and Russian, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
