Jeffrey Hall, former partner at Burke Law Group, was appointed in February 2025 as Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator in the U.S. EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA), one of the agency’s top enforcement leadership roles, where he is responsible for overseeing all of EPA’s civil and criminal environmental enforcement.
The Trump Administration formally submitted his nomination to the Senate on May 6, 2025, to elevate him to Assistant Administrator, one of just 14 EPA positions that require Senate approval.
Before joining the agency in February, Hall spent two years as a partner at Burke Law Group, where he litigated against EPA air regulations. He also served nearly seven years at the Department of Justice in a range of roles. Read more about Jeffrey Hall here.
