Paul Simon Serves on LSU Law’s Advisory Council for the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute

Paul Simon serves on the Advisory Council of LSU Law’s Louisiana Mineral Law Institute, the nation’s longest-running annual conference dedicated to mineral law and the second-oldest annual conference in the field of energy law.

On October 4, 2024, the Advisory Council met to plan the program for the upcoming 72nd Annual Mineral Law Institute, to be held on March 20–21, 2025, at LSU Law Center. The council worked with Professor Keith Hall, Director of the Mineral Law Institute, to shape the agenda and identify timely topics in mineral and energy law.

Professor Hall noted, “The Advisory Council has come up with a great program. I am looking forward to it, and I anticipate that a lot of people will attend—both for the program and the great networking opportunities.”
